Recent TOI article suggest fast rising inter state marriages due to skewed sex ratio. Skewed sex ratio is alarming rising in various part of the country. This has been due to favouring of a particular gender in past decades. Government has been running various program mes but this has become a truth with various community. Young men are finding hard to get bride due to this issue.
As next decade evolve there are lot of new challenges communities across India are going to face. Lot of Inter-caste or Inter-state marriages are suppose to rise at tremendous rate. As India has growing young population. Marriage Bureaus & Matrimonial Websites in this next decade are suppose to play an important role to full-fill this gap.
This has been due to high tolerance to female foticide & dowry systems that is been followed in various communities. India has to strictly follow the act to fight this menace this needs to be handled by law & socially as well. More remains to be done in this area.
